Excelerate was enlisted to assess the supply chain operation of this major global brewery, with the goal of substantially minimizing flexible packaging waste, mitigating product damage during transit, and enhancing workplace safety, all while causing minimal disruption to their existing processes. This encompassed addressing issues related to condensation in their pallet loads, which led to wet boxes and damaged goods.

The Results

With ongoing collaboration with Excelerate, this brewery has experienced substantial enhancements to their packaging procedures. Their loads now exhibit complete stability, with a notable reduction in material usage and associated costs. The elimination of lock and pop glue has alleviated back strain during manual pallet unloading. Additionally, they have adopted our GripControl sheets to augment load stability. The implementation of ExcelAir perforated pallet wrap has completely eradicated condensation from the loads, seamlessly integrating with their existing machinery.
